About Mohsen

I am a computer engineer with a PhD and more than 20 years of experience teaching programming and engineering courses at university. I know the common mistakes beginners make, and I explain things in a simple, step-by-step way. My goal is for every student to become an independent, confident programmer.

About the lesson

These lessons are for beginners who have never written code, high school students in computer science courses, and university students who need help with programming assignments and concepts.

What we can cover:

Programming basics: variables, conditions, loops, functions, and debugging

Languages: C, C++

Problem solving: how to break a problem into steps and turn it into code

Topics: algorithms, object-oriented programming

Contest preparation: practice for programming competitions

Every lesson is hands-on: the student writes code during the lesson, not just watches. I explain why the code works, so students can solve new problems on their own.

Lessons are online (with screen sharing) or in person in Winnipeg. The first lesson is free.
