About Laura

I am a Swiss-French actor/director with 6 years of experience teaching Hebrew, French and Drama. I graduated from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, which gave me great tools to teach my subjects in an exciting way. I have taught in a range of education settings including a Montessori school, drama school, primary school and private tutoring. I have experience working with children with SEND.

About the lesson

Being an actor and movement practitioner I love using my creativity as a medium to make the learning more exciting and relevant. Everyone learns in a different way, which is the most exciting part of my job. I put the student at the heart of the process and adapt my methodology based on the need of my student. I love teaching French from a native speaker perspective and guiding my students towards gaining ownership of the material. Whether you are looking to improve your speaking skills or prepping for exams, I will make sure that you are given the tools to feel confident in your learning. I can also recommend some great French plays to look at!

Hannah

Laura is vibrate, intelligent, supportive and kind. She is an excellent tutor with a well-oiled and exciting process to teach any student, of any age, Hebrew with energy, care and enthusiasm. Her process is light and comic, and her lessons are enjoyable and memorable. I am learning even when I don’t think I am. I’ve picked the alphabet up so quickly, and I can’t wait to learn more. I came searching for just a few lessons, but now I have every intention of continuing indefinitely. Thank you Laura.
