About Christian

Bonjour! My name is Christian Bijitch, and I am a dual citizen of France and the United States. I hold a Master’s in Language Arts from La Sorbonne in Paris, and I have over 30 years of professional teaching experience in schools across France as well as in multicultural schools in the United States. My passion for the French language and culture has guided my career, and I love sharing that passion with my students. I believe that learning a language is not just about memorizing grammar and vocabulary. It is about connecting with the culture, the people, and the ideas behind the words. I enjoy creating lessons that are personalized, practical, and engaging. Whether we are discussing current events, everyday life, or the changing seasons, I use examples that are meaningful and relevant to each student. This approach helps learners of all levels build confidence in speaking, reading, and writing French, while also developing a deep appreciation for French culture. I have worked with students of all ages and backgrounds, from beginners to advanced learners, and I am committed to helping each one reach their personal goals. My teaching style is patient, interactive, and encouraging, making learning French a rewarding and enjoyable experience. Whether you are studying French for school, work, travel, or personal enrichment, I am here to guide you every step of the way. Let us make your journey with French inspiring, practical, and fun!

About the lesson

My Approach as a Tutor: I love sharing the beauty of the French language and culture with my students. My lessons are friendly, interactive, and tailored to your goals. We explore grammar, vocabulary, speaking, reading, and writing through conversations, stories, and cultural insights. Each session is designed to be engaging and enjoyable, helping you grow in confidence while truly connecting with the language. Typical Lesson: Each lesson begins with a review of previous material, followed by new vocabulary, grammar, and conversation practice. I enjoy using practical and relevant examples tailored to you, whether it is something happening in your life, current events, or even the season we are in. We read, write, and speak about topics that matter to you, making learning meaningful, engaging, and easy to remember. Every session ends with clear steps to reinforce progress and keep you motivated. Why Choose Me: With over 30 years of professional teaching experience in France and the US and a Master’s from La Sorbonne, I am passionate about helping learners of all levels succeed. I focus on making French come alive, not just teaching rules, so you can enjoy learning while building lasting confidence. Who Lessons Are For: My lessons are perfect for beginners, advanced learners, students, professionals, or anyone wanting to connect with French language and culture in a meaningful, personalized way. Each session is crafted around your pace, interests, and goals, so learning French is always relevant, enjoyable, and rewarding.
