About Clara
My name is Clara, and I am from France. I have a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature and Civilisation. I've been living in England for 2 years in order to be a French language Assistant before eventually going back to University in my hometown in France at the end of summer 2022.
I have always been passionate in languages and as a linguist student myself, I know how a language's intricacies might be challenging sometimes. I will therefore do my best to help you "consider" French differently, by showing you the beauty of the language and the culture.

As a former French language assistant in secondary school, I learned how different every student is. I therefore put emphasis on a personalized approach that will meet your individual needs.
The courses will be adapted to each level, using a variety of media.
I can help you improving your French, either for your studies (e.g.GCSE, A Level...), for a trip to France or even to brush-up your spoken French.
During the first lesson, I will see with the student what their needs are, in order to create the best plan for them. Then, the lessons will be divided in parts depending on their needs : grammar points, vocabulary, conversations, and so on.
I will also provide the student with a booklet of recommendations and resources (French tv series, films, books, social media accounts etc...) to help them practicing their listening and reading comprehension in a different way.
