About Ariel
Hi, I'm Ari!
I've spent the majority of my life so far in school, and I know how much it stinks to have a teacher or subject that doesn't quite vibe with you, or on the other hand, to have your interest in a subject go beyond what you're learning in class.
I will prioritize YOUR interests and learning style to make our time together as impactful as possible (and maybe even fun?!).
I work in machine learning for cancer drug discovery, and computer science, math, and biology were my favorite subjects in school. But outside of science, I *love* reading books, and I've also worked with writing and editing essays. I'm excited to get to know you!

I take an individualized approach to tutoring-- it depends on who the student is and what method of learning works best for them (visual, theoretical, or hands-on learner?). I want to know who they are and what excites them, and hopefully build that into the subject explanations.
I majored in computer science with a minor in biology, and then got my PhD two years ago researching statistical modeling for biological data in a computer science lab.
I'm passionate about science and engineering, and would love to pass that on to students studying COMPUTER SCIENCE, MATH, or BIOLOGY. I also worked in the Princeton Writing Center during my graduate degree, and am happy to work on WRITING and EDITING with students as well. Any ages are welcome, from elementary school through college!
