About Elsa
Hello and welcome to my profile! My name is Elsa and I am a Portuguese soprano, living in Barcelona since 2015. I started studying music when I was 8 years old and today, I have a Higher Degree in Singing (interpretation), from the Liceu Conservatory. I speak Portuguese, Spanish, Catalan and English, but I have also learned French, German and Italian phonetics. I have a lot of experience as a teacher giving private lessons and I have also worked with groups of children. With me you will learn not only to improve your vocal technique, diction and interpretation, but also to use singing as a tool to express yourself, connecting body and mind.

In my classes we will start with exercises to release tension, especially the muscles we use to sing. Before vocalizing, we practice one of the most important things in singing, breathing. When you are ready, after the vocal exercises in which we improve our technique, we move on to singing and working on diction and interpretation.
